Glencore Operations South Africa (GOSA) kicked off their vaccination rollout to staff members 50 years old and over on the 12th of July. The company, which is one of the world’s largest global diversified natural resource companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 90 commodities, has managed to reach hundreds of staff members with their vaccine rollout at Lekgotla Hall at WCM Waterval East mine. The Group’s operations comprise around 150 mining and metallurgical sites, oil production assets and agricultural facilities.
As part of the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic Glencore has worked diligently alongside the government to aid the impact in communities as well as keep their staff members safe during this time. It is with great excitement that the organisation announces their vaccination rollout to staff members in the Rustenburg communities which will aid the countrywide vaccine process that is currently being rolled out by the government ensuring more numbers are reached quicker.

Community and staff members of GOSA came out in numbers to receive the vaccine on the 12th of July which generously contributes to the progress of the country’s vaccination rollout.
