Kya Sand-based electrical supply company Perelec has been a distributor of low-voltage switchgear products from leading distributor ElectroMechanica (EM) since 1991. This is testament to the longstanding business relationships that EM has forged over the years.

Established in 1989, this long-running distribution agreement with Perelec has been cemented by EM providing the best-quality electrical solutions at highly-competitive prices for a diverse range of industrial applications, Debrah Pereira comments.

The main EM product lines that Perelec stocks are Hager circuit breakers, Lovato switchgear, Finder relays, SCAME welding plugs and sockets, and Cembre hand and cutting tools. The company has a substantial customer base, many of whom have been with Perelec for over 25 years, including wholesalers and product suppliers.

“EM supplies new products consistently, in line with the requirement of the industry for innovative solutions, and also looking to identify existing gaps with new products,” Pereira adds. The company’s clients use EM’s products mainly in panel building, manufacturing, and end-user industries, which is why its range of circuit breakers, contactors, relays, bases, trunking, and welding plugs are among Perelec’s best-selling items.

“We receive phenomenal aftermarket support from EM, as its technical experts are always available to us. They have on occasion even liaised directly with our clients as and when required to resolve any problems. This impeccable support service is definitely one of the main reasons why we have had such a longstanding relationship with EM,” Pereira elaborates.

Perelec’s sales and technical staff attend regular training courses and workshops conducted by EM, to ensure they are always up to date with the latest technology, which allows them to transfer this important information to clients.

“Every aspect of dealing with EM is of immense benefit to us. We look forward to expanding and deepening our partnership, in order to be able to provide the best service possible to our clients,” Pereira concludes.
