Metso’s strong investment in customer closeness continues by opening a new service center in Arizona, USA

Metso continues to strengthen its services close to our customers by opening a new service center in Mesa, Arizona, USA. The Mesa facility provides services for Metso’s customers in the mining, aggregates, and process industries. An official grand opening and open house event for the Mesa service center was held on September 18, 2015.

The Mesa service center is yet another statement of Metso’s continuing investment in world-class local services close to our customers’ businesses. “The Mesa facility complements our global network of service centers and is part of our investments in customer closeness, so that we can extend and improve the service we provide”, says Metso’s President for mining and aggregates services, Mr. Perttu Louhiluoto, who opened the new facility

The new Mesa service center offers value-added services to improve productivity and reduce operational costs throughout the complete life-cycle of mining and aggregates customers’ processes. The center’s full-scope services offering covers field service, repair, wear and spare parts as well as life cycle services solutions. The Mesa facility employs some 60 service experts.

“The Mesa service facility is strategically located in Arizona to provide local service to our growing mining and aggregate customer base in the southwestern USA and Mexico,” says Mr. Terry J. Wilkins, Senior Vice President, USA and Canada, Minerals, Metso.

Metso has close to 50 service centers globally for our customers in mining and aggregates industries.  Recent additions to Metso’s chain of service centers for mining and aggregates customers include facilities in Peru and Mexico, and a new service center opening in Labrador City, Canada later this year.

Metso is the world’s leading industrial company in the mining and aggregates industries and in the flow control business. Our knowledge, people and solutions help drive sustainable improvements in performance and profitability in our customers’ businesses.

Metso has an uncompromising attitude towards safety. Our products range from mining and construction equipment and systems to industrial valves and controls. Our solutions are delivered and supported by decades of process knowledge and a broad scope of services backed by a global footprint of over 90 service centers, thousands of service employees, and an extensive logistics network.

Metso is listed on the NASDAQ OMX Helsinki, Finland. In 2014, Metso’s net sales totaled EUR 3.7 billion. Metso employs approximately 14,000 industry experts in more than 50 countries. Expect results.
