Antaira Technologies is a leading developer and supplier of device networking and industrial communication products and is proud to introduce its newest member of the router product family, the APR-3100N. This new router offers VPN tunneling as well as IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n wireless connectivity.

Antaira Technologies’ new hardened industrial grade router product is both reliable and versatile. The APR-3100N router can handle WAN connection types such as dynamic/static IP, PPPoE, PPTP and L2TP. In regards to wireless, the user can setup on either a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wireless network and employ WEP/WPA/WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK/WPA Enterprise or WPA2 Enterprise security features. The APR-3100N series has a maximum data rate of 300Mbps and can also support IEEE 802.11i / 802.1x authentication.

The APR-3100N incorporates a router and wireless access point within a single industrial-grade enclosure. This allows the end user to provide routing capabilities to a location and at the same time create or expand a 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz wireless network with the access point feature of the A PR-3100N. The routing features of the APR-3100N series include VPN settings IPsec, Open VPN, PPTP and L2TP. The unit also provides administrative tools such as wireless status connection monitoring, event monitoring by syslog, IP address access table and blockage to websites with either a URL address or keyword.

The unit’s connection interface has 2xRJ45 – 10/100 Base T(x) ports per radio. The APR-3100N router/wireless access point unit comes with two Omni directional antennas that utilize MIMO technology to improve the communication performance of the wireless access point. The APR-3100N has a wide voltage input range of 12-48VDC making it suitable for both mobile and stationary applications.

The APR-3100N features a hardened industrial grade IP30 metal enclosure and compact dimensions measuring 46 x 155 x 115 mm (1.81 x 6.10 x 4.53 in). The unit also has temperature extreme version options for either a standard temperature range (-10 to 60˚C) or an extended temperature range (-35 to 70˚C). This device is also compliant with part 15 of the FCC Rules.
